Gnoël – a Skycar original film

I was asked to help with Skycar's holiday video, Gnoël. The idea was that a frustrated homeowner struggling to decorate his house with lights receives some unexpected help. The clip below shows the part I worked on, which involved footage prep, arranging and compositing many individual shots of light strings into the scenes, playing with speed and flow, and animating a few finishing touches like light strings that were keyed out in prep. It was fun to see the "magic" come together in the end.
